Firmness and
density are not the same thing. You could have a dense foam which
was "soft," and a relatively open foam that was "hard" depending

and therefore requires a greater density. What we have developed is
a unique combination, tested in thousands of church installations,
that provides the "feel of comfort" expected in fine
furniture.

The DuPont
Hollofil dacron wrap used by Pad-A-Pew® was
the first fiber engineered specifically for use in fine furniture
batting.
Its unique properties effectively double the life of a typical
installation . Our dacron wrap is also odorless, lint-free, non-allergenic.
DACRON WRAP PROVIDES DOWNLIKE SOFTNESS FOR SUPERIOR COMFORT.
Hollofil fiber is noted for its superior cushioning performance over
conventional polyesters even with lO% less weight. Hollofil fibers
also provide greater resilience, since a hollow tube is more rigid
structurally than a solid shaft.
