Being
a permanent installation, PAD-A-PEW remains comfortable and attractively
in
place at all times. Unlike the loose cushion, PAD-A-PEW will
not shrink or lose its
shape when cleaned. It does not have welt cording
along the front edge of
the pew, which can become uncomfortable. Nor, do we have those annoying
buttons to pop off, which are also very difficult to
clean.
All of our materials are cut and custom fit to each individual
pew. Nothing is made
ahead of time and then sent to you. We have professionally trained
installers that come
right to the church to do the installation.
During our installation, we do not use glue, nuts, bolts, screws,
or nails to attach the pew
padding. We use a system of blind tacking and upholstery staples.
This system has been
specifically designed so as not to harm the wood in the church
pews. If in later years you
were to decide to remove PAD-A-PEW and go back to plain wooden
pews (highly
unlikely!), you would need only to use plastic wood where the
staples were.
